I was wondering if anyone has fished gibraltor lately, or if anyone just had any information on it. Thanks a lot.

Here is my understanding of the current regulations for Gibraltor. These regulations are subject to change before 1/1/02.

Fishing season is January through March.

Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays only.

A $6.00 one-day permit must be purchased on the Monday through Thursday of the week leading to the fishing day.

No more than 30 permits are issued for any fishing day.

A California fishing license is required.

(I suppose that a National Forest one-day permit is also required.)

Permits are sold at SB City Parks and Recreation, 620 Laguna.

Call SBC P&R Dept. at 564-5418 before 1/1/02 to find out if these procedures have changed because I have given you the 2001 regulations.

Good luck.
