In general I don't expect to see much in the way of info on how stuff is going there HOWEVER...I'll make a prediction that the large fish are scarce at the weigh-in at the WON team thing on December 1st. I'm going on Saturday and I'll see what is up...Just a fact finding mission to see if they are still eating what they were eating back in 91....Kelly

Do any good, Kelly? I got to the lake around 7:30 and paddled to the west side of the main island. While rigging up, I saw some 5 inch bass near grassy shoreline. Along comes a 5 in 4 ft of water. Then a 3 even shallower. I backed off the shoreline and threw topwaters and white spinnerbait for nada. Finally got an 11 inch bass around 9:30 on a dropshot crawfish in 20 ft on a hump. Crossed the channel and trolled the East Shore with a wooden trout plug with no reactions. Pretty tough day for me.

Seriously bummed that I had to work through the weekend...Thats why I don't take out to many people as I can never tell what's going to happen at work. Aerospace is a pain in the rump...But it pays for my fishing...I will get out, hook or crook! After Thanksgiving though, and will post any obsevations....Interesting that the fish were shallow like that but lockjawed. That's what I like about Casitas...Not much! To tell you the truth I'm going to target small fish patterns and Kicker fish...We all Know where but I am not even counting them in the bag until I've got my 5....E-Mail me and I'll let you Know WHY. Kripa@aol.com Thanx for your post as it restores my faith in this medium!
