Fished the ABA team event with Nico yesterday. Nice day for fishing, no rain, but cloudy with breeze on and off. Water temps warm, up to 58 degrees. 37 teams. We were the last boat out but were surprised to find out starting spot empty.

Caught 1 right off, missed a few. Made a move to spot number two and Nico caught a 2lb largemouth on a jerkbait, then a 1lb largemouth. Seemed interesting. I reckon we had a limit by 9am, can't remember.

Tried to catch a big one for a few hours, nothing happening. Went back to small fish fishing at the end of the day and culled a few with spots. 10.10lbs won, congrats to Randy Pierson and his dad. Big fish for the event was 2.53lbs. We had 7.70lbs. Don't know where we finished, probably middle of the pack.

Some day we'll figure out Lake McClure. It's a weird lake. The tacos after weigh in were great.
