I’m about to tear down and relocate my fish tank. I figured it was due for a couple more fish. So I rounded up the kids and the dog and we went to the La Mesa pet store. The big Green Sunfish were biting today. Best day ever for size on this creek.

Turns out, big Green Sunfish enjoy the aroma of sea urchin guts too.

Even caught a mutt. This is the only hybrid GSF I’ve ever caught on this creek. This fish was more panfish than GSF. Biggest fish of the day but had the smallest mouth.

So the next time you find yourself in Mexico, be sure to visit Talocatalpa.
