Good luck! It is hard to get anybody to talk about Castaic.

If you go, be sure to post a report!

Castaic has been tough lately from the shore. The people with boats trolling the points have been successful with the schoolie stripers. I fish from shore and it's been tough and also, the wind makes matters worse.

was at castaic this past sunday, it was a tough bite but managed about 13 bass between 3 of us. spiderjigs, flukes, and a 5"oxblood paddletail worm being the most productive. fish caught anywhere from the bank to about 20'. main lake points holding some fish, sporadic boils by lmb. fish are pretty spread out right now. just have to keep moving and searching and trying different depths.
