I landed 131 green sunfish and missed or farmed at least that many.

These guys are the coolest gamefish in the world. OK well,… they are if you’re miniature fishing. They live in the same type places that a moray eel would live. Fishing the pools will catch a few, but fishing the rock cracks and dark caves and overhangs will catch a whole lot more. They are very much a pack mentality fish. When a group gets spooked they will all spot biting. Also when a group gets excited they become ridiculously easy to catch. There was one pool about the size of a hot tub that got “turned on” and I caught 42 fish in it. I ended up leaving that pool biting, because I wasn’t getting any exercise. All I had to do is watch the lure and when it disappears, set the hook. Cool.
