Hey all,
just spent the first of a few weeks in the Bakersfield (downtown?) area,and i couldnt find any quality fishing spots .The Kern river looked liked it was busting at the seams with water,flooded trees and fast current so i passed on that area.I dont really know much about canal fishing but saw a few others doing it,and the only pond/reservoir i found wasnt much fun.any suggestions? i'm off california street and can fish mostly in the evenings so it cant be too far from there.
