Kind of a slow day for me out there. me, brett, and daniel decided to tube the lake this morning. While waiting on shore for brett to get there i got one in the first couple minutes. Then we just slowly move along the shore in tubes and picked up a few more. . Stopped off in a spot by shore and the trout bite was non-stop there up untill we moved on. Then drifted past both the docks and i lost a couple really nice bass that never showed themselves on a hudd. heres a couple pics of the fish i did take pictures of. Didnt take picture of any trout but heres a couple bass i did.

I ended with 11 trout. Too bad I forgot my camera. LAst fish of the day was a solid 3 pound trout dude. The trout were boiling all over by the dock at sunset. I was wet and freezing. I cast out, went to set my rod down, and a fish pulled it down while it was in my hands. I set the hook, it imediately goes sideways and jumps 3 feet out of the water. LAnded it and it almost looked like a small salmon. Solid green back with its whole sides glowing pink. It was a nice on. Didn;t have the stubby tail like a lot of them. Full fins and everything. Barely hooked, so I released it.

Good job.Whats the water temp where your at?The reason I ask is because it looks like your in the type of tube that makes you sit pretty low in the water.
I live in Tri-Cities Wa and went floating today and the water was about 36,berrr.Fished for about 5 hours and picked up 2 fish. The 1st one was a football shaped 4lb,and the 2nd one was beutiful she weighed 7.1 lb and was 22.5 in long and girth of 19in.This is my 2nd best fish ever. And to catch her in such cold water was alittle surprizing.I'm finally getting full feeling back in my feet.lol GB...Jim

The tube is actually about a foot high. So he's rally only sitting on top of the water, not really in it. Its weird, one part of the lake is extremely warm, and other parts are extremely cold. It varies greatly from palce to place on the lake.

Good. The first tube I had years ago did'nt have the air padding so I sat in the water just above my legs, could get real cold.Keep catching them.GB..Jim

Thanx Jim. Wasnt one of the better days at this lake for me but at least i got some fish. I went back on sunday also for about 2 hours but stayed on shore and manged a couple bass and few trout. Also saw one up on a bed that i caught in a shallow cove because the water is so low. By this weekend there should be quite a few up on beds and it will finnaly be time for some bed fishing.
