I'm off to the Jr. BASS state finals tomorrow at Melones. Have somewhat of a pattern built up already so hopefully I win. Prefishing on Saturday and either 4 or 6 hour tournie on Sunday. If I win this thing I go to the Jr. Classic. Toho in February, big fish.}( Wish me luck guys!

Woops. Forgot all about this thread. The tourney was actually almost three weeks ago. Sorry for not posting results guys. I got 3rd place with a limit of spots at 6.69 pounds, winning weight was 7.95 pounds, and second was somewhere in between. Fishing was tough for bigger fish but I did catch lots and lots of smaller spots. Culling for 1/10 of a pound sucks.

I was still pretty happy with third though. I was the only kid in my age group representing my club, so the older Federation guys from my club were super stoked for me. The other thing that's cool is that Aaron Martens donated a bunch of trophies to the CA division of the Jr. Bassmasters and the senior bass club guys got them reworked for us and put the right touney and date on them and everything. Very cool.

All in all I had a blast. Got to fish with one of my favorite boaters who's from my club, placed decently, caught a bunch of fish, showed some of the older guys how good (or bad) of a stick I am, and got to spend some quality camping time with my pops. Lots of fun.
