154, Xmas trees wanted at Santa Margarita lake
Posted by Mickster, Tue Jan-04-00 09:07 AM
I received this message from my buddy Pete:<BR>"Santa Margarita lake would like your Christmas tree (no tinsle, no flock). They've got a heap of them near the marina. They will distribute them to the lake to provide more cover for Mr. Bass and friends."<BR>Pete called and confirmed with SM Lake. They only stress that you add to their pile near the marina and NOT dump the trees yourself in the lake. <BR>

Mickster,<BR>Thanks for the info. I was up there today and noticed they had already put some trees out in the swimming pool cove. Hopefully we'll get some rain soon to cover them up with water. Fishing was decent, I'll post the report in a bit.<P>-Rob

Hopefuly we'll get enough rain this season to get Margarita to fill so the new structures can be used. Right now though, I need to get up there and map where all this stuff is so when the water fills, I'll have a general idea where to fish.
