Give us an idea of length, $$$$ , what you expect out of the boat, fiberglass or aluminum, etc.

bassboatcentral.com is a good place to find info on boats. Look at the "likes and dislikes" links to get an idea of what owners feel about their boats. It seems that most people think the boat they are running is the best out there so make sure you take that into consideration. You should make the effort to spend as much time as possible shoping around, drive/ride in as many different brands as you can get away with, and pay attention to the reputation of the dealer/service center you are going to have to deal with.

All of those listed are good boats, so my advice is, pick the boat you like the best to suit your needs and your budget. Rangers resale is best but its hard to say if it offsets as they are usually more costly also. Good luck Sean

Love my Ranger, I bought a ranger 519 with 10 hours on the big motor from a ranger sponsored guide for 33,000 as upposed to 44,000 for a brand new one. With only 10 hours on it the boat was in great condition and everytthing in perfect shape. Look into the memo boats you might find a great deal. check out westernbass.com there are many available out here for some incredible prices. Good luck. ............. Scott R

As everyone said. Ask yourself if yout willing to leave your boat outside or garaged. If you decided to garage your boat who deep is your garage and how many people are you willing to fish with. I had a 17 foot Nitro but bought a 19 footer a year ago after my family grew. I spend most of the time fishing by myself however when I bring the family its nice to have the extra room. Storage space is another thing to consider. How long are your rods? My 17 foot boat could not hold anythig longer that 7 foot. My 19 foot alows me to almost drop those rods right in.
Ask about a swing away toung. This is important when garaging your boat. How long is the boat from prop to tip the trailer. Will you be fishing Diamond Valley? Ask if your boat has an EPA approved motor.
The list can go on and on. It depends on your needs and how much your willing to spend.
