Yes, as PHISNUTS responded. It does sort of stem from that post. I do feel that post has kept some people from reporting.

This is NOT an off season right now. Just a transitional time. Different approaches, different species, different locations, etc.
As for trout - the Sierras offer great angling experiences during this time of year. Fish plants or no fish plants - fishing can still be good during summer.
