i have heard that the bite went off anybody got any tips or any helpful info. i wanted to head down to isabella but its a long drive.any info will help thanks in advance

I've fished Isabella for the crappie as a back-up plan the past couple of weekends. Easy pickins. But a lot of them are on the small side now. Lots of people fishing for em' too. If you do decide to go up there, fish the Tillie Creek area. You'll want to try either end by the rocks. There seems to be better quality fish in that area. Or, if you don't care, pick a cove and you should do well. I can't imagine it will last much longer though. There's just way too much pressure on em'. Here's a couple of pictures of some guys fishing the French Gulch area. The quality isn't quite as good there anymore.

yeah it was a blast up there but just a very long drive. fishingmagician gave the heads up.yeah there are some really nice slabs out there and tubing it was better than shore angling/yeah piru is 2 hrs closer so i was just checking if anybody did any good there..but thanks for the feed back
