Anybody know how the bass fishing is in the lagoon. I hear its good in the main lake on live bait mostly. Thinking about walking across the dam on the upper lake throwing big baits and cranks. Never tried it but this is the time of year I like to try new stuff. Any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

If you walk the dam you most likely will get a striper befor you get a bass but it is best to fish when they plant. 2 weeks ago they had nignt fishing and they got a lot of striper between 8-12 lb. The striper bites early in the morning and at sunset the best. Walk all the way out on the dam almost to the water tower that is the hot spot for now. If you want to still fish use 6 #test with a 2 hook using blood worm or night crawlers.

Thanks for the info I don't fish bait so I would be throwing lures. But I'll give it a try one day and post how it went. I need a boat!
