11104, Boat requirements for DV lake?

I know it's only four-strokes but what if I don't fire up my 2 stroke 15 horse and only use the TM a la Oso reservoir? I'd like to leave the motor on the transom since a boat w/o a rudder is hard to control in wind.

I asked the same question and they said that you cannot even take it on the lake if it dosen't pass the inspection. I think its O.K. if your boat is electric only but if the wind picks up or the batt goes dead, you may be in trouble......Let me know what they tell you......Warren

No go. In order to get your boat through the gate you need a sticker on it which they give you at the inspection. If you have your 2 stroke on the boat for the inspection- no sticker for you. There's no rule against electric only as far as I know. If the rumors are true you won't need to go far to start catching, so you'd probably be ok on the TM. I've got a backseat on my ride if that doesn't work out, just shoot me an email if you wanna hit it.

I like your last solution best, lol. With an offer like that, why would I go out in my rig where stuff starts floating due to the leaks? Last trip out, I had plano boxes floating in the bottom, lol. I knew that putting in that bilge pump was a good idea. talk to you soon.

haha, nice. My boat leaks, but not quite that bad... Except for the time I left the drain plug out while parking the truck. What the? Did it rain last night? Oooohhhhh #$%@!!! haha, never found a drain plug so fast in my life...
