Anyone know any info on Lincoln Park Lake in Lincoln Heights? This is just a couple of minutes near my house. It is only about 5 acres, so pond would be a more apt description. Has anyone fished there recently, and if so is there anything there that would make it worth my time?

I know that park very well. I grew up in El Sereno. I rather go to Legg Lake than Lincoln park. Dont waste your time or your safety.

Hi Vulture...what did you mean sacrificing "safety" at Lincoln Park Lake?...just curious...I never fished there...I fished Legg Lake before...

Linclon Heights and the park are sites of a great deal of hispanic gang activity. There are often gunshots and such in the park. I like the fact it is close to my house, but Vulture confirmed my thoughts, and I assume that is what he is referring to.
