For people who don't know, Casitas is open one weekend a month (usually around the full moon) for night fishing from the north shore. I fished with a couple of friends from 8pm to 11pm. With the bright moon and a slight breeze, I caught two decent fish on a drop-shot six inch purple worm near Coyote ramp. Once the clouds blanked the moon and the wind died, things slowed down. My friends got skunked fishing crankbaits and eight to ten inch worms. Still a good time, though. For anyone going up there to fish at night, try crawdad point, campground G, and the coves between Coyote and the model airplane airport. They're all good spots to catch a big fish from shore.
