I haven't been up in about a week...But I was fishing at least twice a week...I fly fish...So I don't know how much this will help...

There are THOUSANDS of wild trout but they are all tiny...You are lucky to catch a wild that is more that 7-8 inches long and most will be about 4-5 inches long...They hit any fly but I have only been able to hook up to them on the smaller dry flies...

The planters are a different story...I don't know how long it takes but it seems after a plant, there is an acclimation period and then they can go nuts...Sometimes it is the same day...Then they remainder seem to hunker down and the few that survive for awhile seem to become acclimated and start feeding on bugs and stuff...I have seen and heard a lot of people catching them on mini-jigs...

I have had the most luck with the lightest colored flies...The only factor I have seen that is consistent is that they respond to things that are dead-drifted (drifted along at the same rate as the current and other debris around them) or on things that succesfuly mimic darting baitfish...

Good Luck! The bigger planters are thick below the first bridge...Above the first, and definitely above the second they are get to be more wilds...
