14138, Old Sac (Isleton) report Sept 15,16

I trolled over 22 hours during the two days, not a bump. I trolled a Wiggle Wart, MagWart, Flatfish, BlueFox spinner & Silvertron double. I can report that all fish treated all lures equally.

I trolled from Rio Vista to Locke and back. Lots of hairy-type weeds in the main channel, very difficult trolling there. The water was quite clean above the mouth of the Old Sac. The water was, alas, also very warm at about 70 degrees.

A rather big temperature drop is due this weekend, I reckon that can only help the salmon fishing.

I saw one salmon caught during the whole two days. I heard first hand of two others, all about 8 - 12 pounds.
