I was at the lake on Sunday and started fishing on my boat from 9:00 AM. We tried different coves but was not successful in finding the stripers. We did see about three different boats hook up to a striper. Two out of the three were successful in bringing them in. The stripers were about three to five pounds each. We left the lake at about 2:00 PM without any fish.

If you are planning to go to the lake and fish on a boat, it is highly recommended that you go at the far end of the lake where the orange buoys are tied together. You don't have to drop down your anchor. Just tie the boat on to the buoy line. This does not appear to be an issue at this lake compared to Pyramid or Skinner Lake.

A friend of mine went shore-fishing last week at the dam right after it stocked with trout and he got his five-fish limit by 9:30 AM.

Good luck fishing!:-) :)
