Hey derek,

I haven't fished coneros in years but that used to be my winter hot spot. I would go there when all the lakes were slow and then wouldn't hit it the rest of the year. Yea float tubing in there is going to be your best bet. It can be fished a little from shore but all the good stuff is not accessible from shore. But get a float tube and go fish all the reeds. I used to throw texas rigged worms and some cranks. The biggest fish I ever caught out of there was about 4lbs and the biggest I ever heard was over 10lbs, so there are lots of good saize fish in there. A few years ago there was a massive fish kill in the summer and that stopped me from going there. Maybe I will have to leave the boat home one weekend and pump the old tube up again and see what I can catch.
