I have never been to Irvine....yet. I would suggest NOT going bassin this sunday (25th) as there will be over 70 guys in a trout tournament that day, me included. (don't ask me why cuz' i never target trout in SoCal) It's gonna be worse than the 210-5-118-405-14 northbound interchange on a friday afternoon with an overturned truck leaking fuel and a sniper for the driver. But we all get free t-shirts. :)
Actually the way my luck has been going, it'll be WFO on bass-on-the-troll.

I WILL make it back there this spring as I hear that the bass fishing there is pretty good.
