You don't stink Bro.

Stripers move around a lot all year. They kinda remind me of the frewshwater version "elusive" white seabass. You think they are real tricky and hard to catch, then all of a sudden you're there when they want to die and bite everything. You're doin the same thing you were doing when you didn't get bit?
Timing is everything with stripers. For one they are real nocturnal feeders. This makes, or one would think it makes, the early and late the best times to get bit. I personally had some of the best topwater fishing this yr for stripers at Castaic during the middle of the day. These were not boiling fish either. You just had to be in the right shallows where they were looking for bait! Timing. Keep up the hard work and it will pay off! Don,t stay in one spot, keep moving. Most times a few casts in a spot and you're bit. When I would take the boys seabass fishing there was always 1 or 2 guys waiting for the bite to happen. The fish would come through, bite then leave. No fish for 1 and 2. Good job keeping at it. Call me for more info
