778, Lure making components

I can't seem to find the right sized screw eyes anywhere. I've tried Walmart, K-mart, and the closest Ace hardware. All the ones I've found have either been too big or had too short of threads for a big wood striper plug(less than 1/2"). Where should I look?

Tight lines,
Wade

What length and diameter do you need? I will look for them on page 17 of the Jann's Netcraft catalog.

Also, my old Barlow's Tackle Shop catalog has them (paper catalog, but I do not know if they have them at their website catalog, www.barlowstackle.com.

Good luck.

I was gonna say Barlow's, too- all kinds of stuff for making plugs, wrapping rods, etc.- I bought some molds from them, actually caught some bass on my crappy home made reapers. Pretty fun stuff!
