4206, Help with IPhoto 5

I want to post some pics but do not know how to change the file size in order to upload them here. Would any of you who run Macs and Iphoto please help me. I always get stuck once I get to the uploading step-the message comes up that my file is too big.

rockstar,

I'll ask my wife, she knows some Mac stuff.

A possible workaround could be to get a photo gallery, then link from your gallery to your posts. In the gallery software, it automatically resizes your pictures for you when you upload them. There's even an option in the java applet upload to resize the images before uploading them.

Once your pics are in a gallery, you can go to pics, hold down the mac key and click on the pic then go to properties. Copy the link to the picture, and paste it into your post. The image will show up in your post sized correctly.

If you need more details, let me know. Here's some instructions on how to get set up with a gallery, and I will see about the Mac iPhoto program.

Thanks for the advice. Somebody finally responded. I just got back from Morro Bay and am ratty brained right now. I will give it a try tomorrow.

When you export the image, iPhoto will give you an option to keep the picture the same size, or resize it as it see fits. Your exported picture will be the file size you chose. Then, you can upload it wherever you want.
