Reminder,….the King of the Kelp- calico derby is this Saturday(29th).

Rendezvous area is just West of Zuniga Jetty near North Island(turn left around the jetty as you leave SD bay). Please be early, starting time is 7:15am or after everyone signs in, whichever comes LAST. Weigh in will be at 2pm in the same area. Don’t be late.

Tournament boundaries are; SD bay, Mission Bay, Pl kelp, La Jolla kelp, and adjacent structures. This is a small craft based event. If you have a tuna chaser, you are welcome to attend, Please just stay within “skiff range”. If you are North of LJ kelp, or South of PL kelp, you are out of bounds. No Islands or pipe runs. We are on the honor system.

Entry fee is $15 per person and goes into jackpots for 1st and 2nd place. 100% payout!! I have been told there may be some gear prizes as well. I have made a VERY accurate teeter scale to determine the winners.
