Hey Rob/Matt,

I am living that "SLO/Calpoly" life now, fishing Santa Margarita and Naci....only difference is I havn't met a trophy hunter like Rob or Matt yet and I am doing it now a bit older then what you guys were back then I imagine. I have one story, (wish I had a good pic) of my first PB caught in the back side of Margarita in 2002. After going into a cool store in A.G. that is now in SLO called Tacklewarehouse I was turned on to Osprey swimbaits...Well my brother and I use to hike into the backside of Santa Margarita and before this bass fishing craze hit me, we would go back there floattubing and fly fishing for big Bluegil. Well one day I went with a swimbait rod and my brand new (big ass) lure. On the third cast of this 6 inch or so (can't remember how big it was) swimbait I get hit like a frieght train and have an awsome fight and land a 8 or 9 lb'r. It was definitly life changing....
