I like to throw #19 olive herring or #48 brown grunion to imitate bluegill. Those are just good fish catching colors. My only fish over 10 on the Big Hammer that wasn't a bedfish was caught casting the #48.

I have my own color, Rob's Bluegill #80 but that is a bed fishing color, not designed so much for cast and retrieve.
