Hi Guys,

I'm confused, does the 2006 model have the Dartainium drag? The Cabelas site says it does but all the others that i've checked don't mention it, not even on the Shimano website.

Your input is greatly appreciated.

Yes it has dartanium drags

Thanks for the reply. I picked up a 300A yesterday and i'm impressed. Light, 5 A-RB bearings total, and very compact. I think this will work out real well for the smaller sized swimbaits.

gotta love the original Cardiff 100 made in Japan, that reel is very nice even with the hippie $hit on the sideplate- I guess one of the engineers were smoking the Japanese chronic when they designed that- still my favorite reel for the bay
