I don't fish swimbaits that much, but after lossing a tounament to a couple of guys that were throwing the 3:16 "Mighty Minnow" all day and seeing the price tag for a packet of 4 (10 bucks). I want to give them a try. Has anyone else here tried these baits? What are some thoughts on them?

They fish pretty nice and are really a solid bait. Good for weedless rigging and you can add a nail weight to fish them a little deeper. They last for more fish than I expected as well. I think its a good deal for $10

I just got a couple packs, I really like the way they look and they seem to be a great value. I'll be throwing some tonite at Lake Perris, if I get anything on them I will post results.

Where do you buy the Mighty Minnow?

I got mine from a local Tackle shop here in Paso Robles. I don't think Tackle warehouse is carrying these yet...Not sure of where else to get these right now.

I love Mickeys baits, I'll always be a Mission Fish fan, but I bought 6 Mighty Minnows, and I was not impressed at all, I really want to see Mickey use his skill and not re-create what he has already done. I have over $500 of 3:16 baits everything he has created, and the new baits I feel he has copied his own baits. Come on Dude I know you can create a picaso. Magmaster did someone send Mickey a Barbi????

Did you even fish the bait Dane? Its designed to do some different things that his other baits don't do. That is for you to figure out and me to catch fish on while you are learning }(

Thanks for the info. The baits look cool, I really got a lot of information off the one picture on the USA Pro website. Tons of details and lots of images of the different colors, length, weight, etc!!!
