Just a heads up to anyone who is looking at the X-Tools culling system, the floats are a joke. They are way too bulky/heavy for the small fish and they wind up falling off anyway whether you clip to the lower jaw or the top corner of the jaw.

I'm going to cut off everything below the numbered float, run a piece of thin nylon rope and use a standard clip. The scale itself works well although a bit odd when you first try to use it. The buttons are by no means logical but it does work. Just FYI.

There was a post on NCBF that I read about this same thing. I cut off the plastic post to the float and used weedeater string, some small clamps, and some shrink tubbing and they cam out Great. Much bettre than the original set up. Only problem is I lost one of the pins that hold the two sides of the clamp together.
