Does anyone have any experience with these rods? specifically, the HAMA Heavy Carolina rod model HL-Z 741HRB-T. Are these rods worth the money? Looking for a carolina/jig rod.
Found one for $199. Is this about the right price?

I have 9 of them they are great! I would highly suggest them! They are the lightest rods around most weigh 4oz and under, 199 is ok they do retail for over 400 but I bought most of mine for 100ea but can no longer get them. Where did you find them?

a friend's rod. however, it says made in taiwan. is it a knock off? also the daiwa website says 10-20lb and this rod says 12-20lb.

You know I kinda doubt it but it may be possible... Here is a pic of one of mine http://calfishing.com/gallery/album10/000_2745 the handle on the 7'4" should be similar but the back grip should be BLACK If I were you I would offer 150 for it. Also if they have more than 1 I would like to get one if possible.
