Can a Curado 200BSF be converted to a 5:1 gear ratio? If so, what parts do I need to order from shimano? Thanks!

I wanted to know the same thing. A Curado BSF with 5:1 gears would be an awesome cranking reel. If anyone has info, post please!

You can't convert the 200BSF to 5:1, there's no possible gears to convert it. Sorry bro you're out of luck

The Curado 100 is a Super Free reel so it has the potential of casting further, but the 200 SF seems to be a little better with the lighter spool.

using the ch-50mg wiffle spool will unleash the potential of the 100b, esp w/ lighter lures }(

yeah it fits just fine, but they're about $50 from Shimano and they're on b/o for a few more months
